I've been playing with sidebar designs today. I made them pretty generic so anyone can use them if they would like to.
To use: Right click on the sidebar you want, "Save Picture As", you can use the name I did or make one up yourself. If the sidebar has animation (glitter or sparkles) be sure that you are saving it as a "gif". If there is no animation you can just save it as "bmp" or "jpg".
Then go to your FTP space (if you haven't been there just type in "my ftp space" in a keyword search. AOL should take you right to it. Click the "see my ftp space" button. Then there should be an images folder there, open that and click the "upload button".
Type in the name of the picture as you want it. Be sure to add ".gif" or ".jpg", whichever the case may be. You cannot add ".bmp" to the end, even if the picture is that way on your computer, go ahead and use ".jpg" at the end. It will NOT work with "bmp" at the end.
Select the file and then send it. It is now stored in your FTP space. So now when you go to your journal and click the Add pictures from hometown, you will be able to find the file there. You will have to go into Add or Edit an entry to get it. Right click on the picture when you bring it up in the "Add pictures" area, and copy it.
Now leave the add entry and go to edit in your About Me section. Once there right click in the entry space and click paste. Your Sidebar should now be there, remember to save and your all set! Cool, huh?
I'm not sure about doing all this personalized stuff. I know that Brittany, Vernae and a lot of other people do. But with the baby and everything, I don't know how much time I would have to devote to it.
I also am not sure I want all the headaches and hassle that come with that. I kind of like doing the tag and snag offers. But if someone would really like a sidebar with a certain theme or certain information on it, let me know and I will see what I can do. No promises though. But I do love playing with these graphics and I will do my best with the time that I have.
Have a great day! HUGS!

You are so sweet to offer to help people with their side bars and also try to make them the way they like. Hope that you have a wonderful weekend. TerryAnn.
